  • Words a person uses to make a motion
  • It is NOT correct to say “I make a motion.”

Meeting:

  • Group of members gathered to conduct business

Minutes:

  • Formal proposal, or suggestion, made by someone at a meeting

Motion:

  • Close the meeting

  • Set of rules used by a group to conduct meetings and make fair decisions for the group

Secretary:

  • Official record keeper
