The 4th Grade North Dakota Studies units help to fulfill the requirement that “Each North Dakota public and nonpublic elementary and middle school shall provide to students instruction in North Dakota Studies, with an emphasis on the geography, history, and agriculture of the state, in the fourth and eighth grades.” (NDCC 15.1-21-01)
In addition, all content and activities have been created to align with North Dakota Social Studies Content and Achievement Standards for Grade 4 as outlined by the North Dakota Department of Public Instruction.
